29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):  One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:    Employees are exposed to the hazard of a mechanical rotating part.  This violation was most recently documented on March 6, 2020 at 1267 E. 32nd Ave., Columbus, Nebraska. The employer failed to ensure the Jet drill press was being used with a guard.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that tension would not be transmitted to joints or terminal screws:                                                                 The employer is failing ensure that employees are protected from electrical hazards. This was most recently documented on March 6, 2020 at 1267 E. 32nd Ave., Columbus, Nebraska.  The employer failed to ensure that a flexible cord on the Uni-Hydro iron worker foot pedal had strain relief.
