29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Ceiling Joists of the Second Level Breezeway: On or about May 1, 2020, the employer did not ensure fall protection was used while working from the temporary decking on the joists to frame the roof structure which exposed employees to a fall of 25-feet. b) Exterior platform near the rear stairway of the North Main Structure: On or about May 1, 2020 and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure fall protection was used when walking on the platform with unprotected edges which exposed employees to a fall of 15-feet. c) Exterior platform near the rear stairway of the South Main Structure: On or about May 1, 2020 and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure fall protection was used when walking on the platform with unprotected edges which exposed employees to a fall of 15-feet.
