29 CFR 1926.1153(c)(1): For each employee engaged in a task identified on Table 1, the employer shall fully and properly implement the engineering controls, work practices, and respiratory protection specified for the task on Table 1, unless the employer assesses and limits the exposure of the employee to respirable crystalline silica in accordance with paragraph (d) of this section:  (a) New residential construction located on Lot #1 at 5130 Briarstone Ridge Way, Alpharetta, GA 30022, Driveway: On or about 05/16/2020, the employer exposed employees to silica exposure while cutting granite countertops, in that a Makita (Model - 9566CV) 6-inch Grinder with diamond saw wheel was used to cut a granite countertop without a shroud or any other engineering control as listed in Table-1 to eliminate silica dust while dry cutting the granite slab.
