29 CFR 1926.752(d): Pre-planning of overhead hoisting operations. All hoisting operations in steel erection were not pre-planned to ensure that the requirements of 1926.753(d) are met.  On or about 05/12/2020 workers at the PDQ, INC. steel erection jobsite were exposed to overhead hazards during hoisting operations.  The General Contractor did not verify subcontractor conducted pre-planning prior to conducting overhead hoisting operations.

On or about 5/12/2020 workers at the PDQ, INC. steel erection construction project were exposed to crushing injuries due to the employer's failure to maintain the structural stability of the roof trusses which resulted in a roof collapse.
