29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Worksite located at 737 W. 44th Terrace, Kansas City, Missouri- Employees used a ladder to access the deck level and then used another ladder to access the roof level. The employee was exposed to falling on the edge of the deck level and was not protected from falling by any means of fall protection.
