29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(7): Ladder(s) that were unsecured or not provided with slip-resistant feet were used on slippery surfaces. On or about June 4, 2020, at the previously addressed site, employees installing siding on a residential building and engaged in other construction activities used an unsecured extension ladder equipped with rubber feet which was placed on a concrete surface with a piece of 2x4 wood placed under one foot of the ladder. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
