29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(21): Employees were not grasping the ladder with at least one hand when progressing up and/or down the ladder:  (a) On or about June 12, 2020, an employee used an aluminum Werner extension ladder to access a second floor window while carrying a large forty-four inch wide by fifty-five inch tall storm window up to be placed for installation. This did not allow employee to maintain at least a one handed grasp on the ladder while climbing up the ladder.

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(22): Employees  using ladders were carrying objects or loads that could cause the employee to lose balance and fall   (a) On or about June 12, 2020, an employee carried a storm window with the approximate dimensions of forty-four inches, by fifty-five inches up an aluminum Werner extension ladder to the second floor window for installation. This exposed the employee to a fall hazard of approximately 12 feet.
