29 CFR 1926.502(h)(1): The employer did not did not designate a competent person to monitor the safety of other employees and/or did not ensure that the safety monitor complied with the requirements listed in (h)(1)(i) through (h)(1)(v) of this section:   On or about June 18, 2020, at the worksite located at 4 Monroe St. in Port Clinton, Ohio: The employer did not adequately protect employees from fall hazards in that a safety monitor performed roofing tasks.  Employees were exposed to an approximate 13 ft. fall hazard while the safety monitor was not performing monitoring functions.
