Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.   a) Zetico Martinez, at a jobsite located at 935 Burtwood Court, Pataskala, Ohio 43062: On and/or preceding June 17, 2020, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls while engaged in residential construction activities. An employee was installing roofing materials without fall protection, thereby exposed to fall hazards of up to 20 feet.

An employee used a non-safety rated rope tied off around a truss at the nail plate, thereby exposed to fall hazards of up to 20 feet.
