29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2):  The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person (i.e., a person who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has the authority to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them):    (a) Cherrywood Village Apartment Complex (Parker, CO): On or about July 2, 2020 and at times prior, employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 30 feet to the ground below while performing roofing operations without fall protection as the employer failed to complete frequent and regular inspections of the jobsite.    Abatement Note:  Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
