29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation:  a) At the forklift battery charging area, on or about July 7, 2020 and at times prior to, employees did not wear eye and face protection for exposure to sulfuric acid splashes while inspecting the acid level and adding water to powered industrial truck batteries.  b) In the warehouse, custodial closet, and toilet rooms, on or about July 7, 2020 and at times prior to, employees did not wear eye and face protection for exposure to CLR Pro and Clorox Clean-up splashes while mixing concentrate and cleaning.  c) In the meat department, on or about July 7, 2020 and at times prior to, employees did not wear eye and face protection for exposure to 2107 Linx Multi-Purpose Sanitizer and Smart Heavy Duty Degreaser splashes while mixing concentrate and cleaning.  d) In the warehouse, on or about July 8, 2020 and at times prior to, employees did not wear eye protection for exposure to being struck by wire straps while strapping bundles of baled cardboard.
