OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to crushing hazards:   The employee, while operating a green 2018 John Deere Model Z920M Zero Turn riding lawnmower, was exposed to rollover hazards while mowing the lawn at St. Peter the Apostle Cemetery, 124 Alden Street Provincetown, MA  02657 on Friday morning, August 7, 2020.   The employee was mowing the lawn down an embankment with a slope of approximately forty-five 45) degrees.  The employee turned the riding lawnmower to the right to avoid striking a large wooden cross and a pine tree and rolled it over onto its left side, pinning the employee between the driver's seat, the left steering control lever and the ground.   In accordance with the Owner's Manual the riding lawnmower is not to be operated on slopes greater than twenty (20) degrees.
