Scaffolds used in general industry must meet the requirements in 29 CFR part 1926, subpart L (Scaffolds) in that the employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards:  a)     Seagate Terminals: On or about 08/06/2020, a temporary employee working from an aerial lift was not trained in the recognition and avoidance of hazard associated with aerial lift usage, as result fell 10 feet to the ground fracturing multiple bones.   Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.  The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
