29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person (i.e., a person who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has the authority to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them):  (a)  Dreamweaver Construction Inc, at 1512 Bluemoon Drive, Longmont, CO: On and preceding 7/24/2020, the employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person (i.e., a person who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has the authority to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them).  Contractor Victor Araujo performed work at the direction of Dreamweaver Construction Inc.  Araujo framed new construction homes at the Shadow Grass development.  Dreamweaver Construction Inc did not ensure that the work site was inspected frequently and regularly by a competent person.  This condition exposed employees of Victor Araujo to approximate 9.2 foot fall hazards.
