Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a. Located at 221 England Street in Pickerington, Ohio: On or about August 12, 2020, two employees were observed installing a shingle roof without fall protection, thereby exposing employees to an approximately twenty foot fall hazard.

Located at 221 England Street in Pickerington, Ohio: On or about August 12, 2020, employees were performing roofing work with climbing harnesses attached to rope lifelines that was not properly anchored as the rope was wrapped around the truss nail plate and tied back to itself.
