29 CFR 1910.335(a)(1)(i): Employees working in areas where there were potential electrical hazards were not using electrical protective equipment that was appropriate for the specific parts of the body to be protected and for the work to be performed:  a) On or about August 24, 2020, the employer did not ensure maintenance employees were provided with arc rated upper torso clothing to protect against potential arc flash hazards when verifying zero energy on the exposed to 277 volt heat pump system circuit.  b) On or about August 24, 2020, the employer did not ensure maintenance employees were provided with arc rated clothing for the legs to protect against potential arc flash hazards when verifying zero energy on the exposed to 277 volt heat pump system circuit.  c) On or about August 24, 2020, the employer did not ensure maintenance employees were provided with leather gloves to protect against potential arc flash hazards when verifying zero energy on the exposed to 277 volt heat pump system circuit.  d) On or about August 24, 2020, the employer did not ensure maintenance employees were provided with arc rated face shields and hard hats to protect against potential arc flash hazards when verifying zero energy on the exposed 277 volt heat pump system circuit.
