29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  On or about October 16, 2020, the employer failed to ensure that some form of effective guarding was in place on the Furnace Patent Line (GCR Engineering Space, Milano Italy), to protect employees from hazards such as but not limited to the moving parts and ingoing nip points.  Employees were exposed to hot moving wires and the spinning pulley assembly systems that the wires are connected to.  NOTE:  This employer was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or it's equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection #1219839, citation 1, item 1, which was affirmed as final order on July 17, 2017, with respect to the workplace located at 30000 Solon Road, Solon OH.
