29 CFR  1910.178(g)(2):Battery changing and charging installations for industrial trucks were not provided with facilities for flushing and neutralizing spilled electrolyte.  At 2237 South West Street Ct. Wichita, KS. at the forklift charging station employees engaged in activities associated with charging the lead-acid electric batteries were exposed to hazards of working with lead-acid batteries including: skin irritation, damage to corneas, and upper respiratory irritation in that the employer failed to provide a dedicated spill kit to neutralize spilled electrolyte.
