On 10/13/2020, at the Morgan Landing subdivision, lots 27-33, Buford, Ga., employees were performing framing activities and were exposed to tripping hazards as they went in and out of the buildings as scrap lumber with nails was in walkways going in and out of the sites.

29 CFR 1926.451(e)(1): When scaffold platforms were more than 2 feet (0.6 m) above or below a point of access, portable ladders, hook-on ladders, attachable ladders, stair towers (scaffold stairways/towers), stairway-type ladders (such as ladder stands), ramps, walkways, integral prefabricated scaffold access, or direct access from other scaffold, structure, personnel hoist, or similar surface was not used. Cross braces were used as a means of access. On 10/13/20, at the Morgan Landing subdivision, Lot 41, Buford Ga, subcontracted employees working from scaffolds were accessing working levels by climbing the scaffold members themselves or accessing working levels from 2nd story roofs rather than using a ladder to access working levels.
