Flammable paint was allowed to accumulate on cardboard surfaces placed on the internal walls of the paint booth exposing employees to fire hazards.

Employees utilizing the SKAT Blasting  systems and spray painting were required to wear N95 filtering facepiece respirators. Employees were exposed to hazards associated with wearing a tight fitting respirator such as, but not limited to, aggravation of pulmonary issues, such as asthma, emphysema and aggravate claustrophobia, all contributing to negative health effects.
