The employer required the employees to wear a CleanSpace Halo tight-fitting air purifying respirators to protect against the SARS-CoV-2 virus while providing care to suspected and confirmed positive COVID-19 patients.

29 CFR  1910.134(f)(1): The employer did not ensure that employee(s) required to use a tight-fitting facepiece respirator passed the appropriate qualitative fit test (QLFT) or quantitative fit test (QNFT):  On or about November 25, 2021 and at times prior, the employer did not ensure that employees who were required to wear a half mask tight-fitting air purifying respirator were fit tested using a manufacturer approved qualitative or quantitative method.  The employer required the employees to wear a CleanSpace Halo tight-fitting air purifying respirators to protect against the SARS-CoV-2 virus while providing care to suspected and confirmed positive COVID-19 patients.
