29 CFR 1926.651(j)(1):29 CFR 1926.651(j)(1): Adequate protection was not provided to protect employees from loose rock or soil that could pose a hazard by falling or rolling from an excavation face. Such protection did not consist of scaling to remove loose material; installation of protective barricades at intervals as necessary on the face to stop and contain falling material; or other means that provide equivalent protection:  A) 500 Central Ave Westfield, NJ 07090  The spoil piles from the excavation were placed on the top edge of the excavation while employees were working in the excavation. No means of roll off protection were in place to prevent soil and or rock from falling down into the excavation.  Hazard noted on or about 12/11/2020
