29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  29-49 James St., Worcester, MA: On or about January 20, 2021, an employee was observed walking on the steel framing of the building under construction more than 12 feet above the ground below without any fall protection.  Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29CFR1903.19(d)(1).

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(13):The top or top step of a stepladder was used as a step:  29-49 James St., Worcester, MA: On or about January 20, 2021, an  employee  was observed working form the top (hinge) of an A frame ladder and another employee was observed working from the top step  of another  A frame ladder  that the employees were using to reach their work activities.  Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29CFR1903.19(d)(1).
