29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: New residential construction located at 100 Frost lake Drive, Sandy Springs, GA 30325, Excavation: On or about 02/01/2021, the employer exposed employees to impalement hazards, in that the rebar used for a reinforcement foundation wall was not provided with caps or turned over as employees were using the rebar wall as a means of egress.
