29 CFR  1910.1200(f)(6)(ii):  The employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provide at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals and which, in conjunction with the other information immediately available to employees under the hazard communication program, would provide employees with the specific information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical   a) Double J Disposal, Inc., at 20754 Austin Road, Austin, CO 81410: On or before February 23, 2021, the employer did not ensure secondary containers of chemicals were labelled correctly with the chemical content of the container and the hazard warnings of the chemical contained therein.  Chemicals in the maintenance shop area were in spray bottles and plastic containers with unknown chemicals contained in them.  This condition exposed employees to skin, eye and respiratory hazards.

29 CFR  1910.1200(g)(8):  The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical.  a) Double J Disposal, Inc., at 20754 Austin Road, Austin, CO 81410: On or before February 23, 2021, the employer did not ensure that safety data sheets were readily available to employees during each work shift when they were in their work areas. Material Safety Data Sheets had not been updated and replaced to the required Safety Data Sheet format in the workplace and were not present and were not readily accessible to employees. This condition potential exposed employees to chemical hazards.

29 CFR  1910.303(b)(1): Electrical equipment was not free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees:  a) Double J Disposal, Inc., at 20754 Austin Road, Austin, CO 81410: On or before February 23, 2021, the employer failed to provide a workplace free from recognized electrical hazards in the vehicle service area; in that one flexible cord had exposed wires and exposed inner insulation near the plug, the flexible cord had also been spliced together with another flexible cord and covered with electrical tape. This condition exposed the employees to the hazard of electrical shock.
