29 CFR  OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The Employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees that were exposed to struck-by and crushing hazards during tree removal work operations.  Worksite: On or about February 26, 2021 while in the process of removing multiple trees at 293 Laurel Road, New Canaan, CT an employee of Walter & Son's Tree Service, Inc. was struck by a tree that was being felled. The employee was sustained fatal head trauma injuries as a result of the incident.
