29 CFR  1910.1200(e)(1):The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:  At the jobsite located at 3302 Capri in Wichita, KS, employees engaged in residential roofing activities were exposed to asphalt shingles, gasoline and oil. Asphalt shingles, gasoline and oil can cause skin and eye irritation, vision loss, and loss of consciousness. The employer exposed the employees in that the employer had not developed and implemented a written comprehensive hazard communication program.

Gasoline and asphalt shingles can cause skin and eye irritation, vision loss, and loss of consciousness. The employer exposed the employees in that the employer did not maintain the required safety data sheets for hazardous chemicals used at the workplace.

29 CFR  1910.1200(h)(1):Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:  At the jobsite located at 3302 Capri in Wichita, KS employees engaged in residential roofing activities were exposed to asphalt shingles,  gasoline and oil, which can cause skin and eye irritation, vision loss, and loss of consciousness. The employer exposed the employees in that the employer had not provided employees with effective information and training on the hazardous chemicals in their workplace.
