29 CFR  1926.25(a):During the course of construction, alteration, or repairs,  debris was not kept cleared from work areas, passageways, and stairs, in and around buildings or other structures:    On or about 03/09/2021, at 534 NW 22 Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33305, the employer did not ensure that scrap lumber and debris was kept cleared from work areas exposing employees to lacerations, punctures and abrasions.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b)(13):  On or about 03/09/2021 and 03/12/2021, at River Garden Townhouses, 534 NW 22 Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the employer did not provide guardrails on the second floor of a residential building under construction exposing employees to a fall hazard of approximately 10-feet from falling to the lower level.  Richard & Rice Construction Company, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1469298, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 06/18/2020, with respect to a workplace located at  4917-4937 Pointe Midtown Way, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, 33418.
