29 CFR  1910.138(a):The employer did not select and require employee(s) to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands were exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasion:  Employees were exposed to severe cuts and amputation hazards. The employer did not select and require employees to wear cut resistant gloves when employees are exposed to the sharp edges of aluminum. Employees uncoil aluminum coils manually in the Parts Department Area in the Playcraft Building.  On or about March 9, 2021, an employee had an amputation injury to his finger as the aluminum proceeded to unroll and he was not provided by the employer any cut resistant gloves.

29 CFR  1904.39(a)(2): The employer did not report within 24-hours a work-related incident resulting in in-patient hospitalization, amputation or the loss of an eye.  Richland Diversified dba Playcraft Boats of Richland, Missouri did not report an amputation as a result of a work-related incident to OSHA within twenty-four hours. An incident occurred on or about March 9, 2021, which involved a partial amputation of a finger and the incident was not reported to  until March 11, 2021.
