On or about March 22, 2021, employees were exposed to fall hazards approximately 22 feet high while engaged in residential roofing activities. Fall protection was not being utilized while performing roofing operations. Juan Mayancela Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1413196, citation 1, item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on October 30, 2019, with respect to a worksite located at 470 Raintree Dr., Oswego, IL. No abatement certification or documentation required for this item.
