29 CFR  1926.95(c): Personal protective equipment was not of safe design and construction for the work to be performed:  The employer is failing to protect employees from fall hazards associated with welding work on communication towers This was most recently documented on or about March 28, 2021 at Blackhawk Tower Communications, Inc. jobsite located at 926 Kansas Street Le Roy, KS 66857 (corner of Kansas Avenue and Shull Street). Where the employer has employees welding modification on the tower using inadequate  fall protection  equipment such as but not limited to the Petzl Positioner, Model Grillon, serial number 2939181. This equipment is not designed for welding operations, in that it is not resistant to high heat to protect against slag or direct contact with the heat source of the welding operation.
