General-duty citation text

OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees due to falls while working from a scissor lift.    Wyndham-Margaritaville Atlanta Centennial Park, 22nd floor: On or about 04/01/2021, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards, in that employees climbed and walked on the guardrails of a Sky-Jack (Model SJ111-3219) Scissor Lift approximately 258-ft. from the lower ground level engaged in metal framework installation. Employees were provided with self-retracting lanyards and full body harnesses using the anchor points provided on the guardrails of the scissor lift basket; however working from the guardrails is prohibited by the manufacturer.
