29 CFR  1910.37(b)(4): Signs were not posted along the exit access indicating the direction of travel to the nearest exit and exit discharge when the direction of travel to the exit or exit discharge is not immediately apparent:  a. Facility Warehouse; Signs were not posted along  the exit access between storage rack aisles.  Employees were working in the warehouse where there were no visible exit direction sign indicating the direction of travel to the nearest discharge exit; on or about 4/8/2021.   b. Facility Front section; Signs were not posted along the exit access in the front section of the facility where employees work in different rooms.  There were no visible exit direction sign indicating the direction of travel to the nearest discharge exit; on or about 4/8/2021.   Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.

Facility- Front section- Employees working in separate rooms with connecting doors leading to dead-end spaces including, closets and storage rooms were not marked and can be mistaken for exits; on or about 4/8/2021  Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR  1910.37(b)(6): Each exit sign must be illuminated to a surface value of at least five foot-candles (54 lux) by a reliable light source and be distinctive in color. Self-luminous or electroluminescent signs that have a minimum luminance surface value of at least .06 foot-lamberts (0.21 cd/m2) are permitted  a.  Facility-  Exit signs posted on doors in the front section of the facility by the listers area and the front office were made of paper material and not illuminated; on or about 4/8/2021.   Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
