29 CFR 1910.177(f)(2)(ii): The employer did not ensure that tires are completely deflated by removing the valve core before a multi-piece rim wheel is removed from the axle when there is obvious or suspected damage to the tire or wheel component: On April 10, 2021, behind the shop office: The forklift tires were not deflated by removing the valve core before multi-piece rim wheels were removed. Four multi-piece rim assemblies were previously found to have cracks. Employees were exposed to struck-by hazards.
