29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury: a) New residential construction; LOT 543; Roof: On or about 4/15/2021, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck by hazards , in that they are operating a Hitachi NR83A3(s) 3 1/4 strip nail gun at 100 PSI without eye protection. Safety glasses were not provided to employees while conducting framing activities prior to the beginning of the work day.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: a) New residential construction; LOT 543; Roof: On or about 4/15/202, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards , in that a complete fall protection system was not provided to employees who were conducting framing activities on a 6:12 pitched roof at heights measured at 24 feet 5 inches to the lower level. Employees were installing sheathing on the roof.

29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: a) New residential construction, LOT 543, Interior floor: On or about 4/15/2021, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to shock hazards, in that there was no strain relief on the extension cords being used to power portable hand tools for framing activities.
