On or about April 22, 2021, at a residential construction site on 27915 Cochran Park Trail, Spring, TX, employees were exposed to eye injuries while operating nail guns without wearing eye protection.

Note:  See exceptions in paragraphs (b)(3)(i) and (ii) of this section.  On or about April 22, 2021, at a residential construction site on 27915 Cochran Park Trail in Spring, TX, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard while working on a pump jack scaffold whose front edge was more than 14 inches (36 cm) from the face of the work.

29 CFR  1926.451(c)(2): Supported scaffold poles, legs, posts, frames, and uprights did not bear on base plates and mud sills or other adequate firm foundation:  On or about April 22, 2021, at a residential construction site on 27915 Cochran Park Trail in Spring, TX, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard while working from a pump jack scaffold that did not have adequate support from the base plates and mud sills installed, in order to prevent the scaffold from settling into the ground.
