29 CFR  1926.501(b)(10):Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.  Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system:  (a)K1 Construction, Inc. dba K1 Roofing Inc. at 501 East St. Joseph, Rapid City, SD 57701:  On or about and at times prior to May 15, 2021 the employer did not ensure subcontracted employees were protected from falls while conducting roofing operations on a commercial property.  Subcontracted employees were on a flat section of the roof removing roofing materials as part of tear off operations and not protected from falls by a fall protection system.  This condition exposed subcontracted employees to a fall hazard of 30 feet.
