29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a) Headworks Building: On May 26, 2021; employees were exposed to a 7.3 foot fall hazard while accessing a ladder which was 3 feet away from the edge of an unguarded stair landing on the second floor.  b) Headworks Building: On May 26, 2021; employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately feet while observing work taking place in the Scum Pump Pit below.
