29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  a) Upper mezzanine area; On or about June 4, 2021 and at times prior to the controlling employer John Soules Foods Alabama failed to ensure that it's sub-contractor National Insulation Contractors protected it's employees from fall hazards in that employees were allowed to work at or near an unprotected edge that was 20 feet from the ground floor without being protected from falling with a guardrail system, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.
