Location:  26 Brown Avenue, Roslindale, MA:  Employees engaged in roofing activities were exposed to falling materials from the roof of a two story residential structure where protective hardhats were not worn.

29 CFR  1926.501(c)(3):The employer did not barricade the area to which objects could fall, did not prohibit employees from entering the barricaded area, and did not keep objects that could fall far enough away from the edge of a higher level so that those objects would not go over the edge if they were accidently displaced.  Location: 26 Brown Avenue, Roslindale, MA:  Employees were engaged in roofing activities and did not prevent employees from entering the area on the ground where material could fall exposing employees to struck-by hazards.
