29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.   a- 200 Emmons Drive, Building 9, Princeton NJ:  Two workers were exposed to fall hazards, up to and in excess of 33 feet to the ground surface below, when walking and working at and near the unprotected edges of a commercial structure's balcony without the use of fall protection.  Condition observed on or about 07/15/21.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM.  FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
