Worksite:  The employee, who was required to work near a pneumatic nail gun during removal and  installation of roof shingles, was not equipped with and required to wear eye protection.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):   The employer did not ensure that each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges (6) feet or more above lower levels, was  protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.     Worksite:  The employer did not ensure that the employee who was working from the roof of a commercial building under renovation was protected from fall hazards above (6) feet by the use of guardrails, safety nets, or personal fall arrest systems.
