29 CFR  1926.651(k)(2):Where the competent person found evidence of a situation that could result in possible cave-in, indications of failure of protective systems, hazardous atmospheres, or other hazardous conditions, exposed employee(s) was/were not removed from the hazardous area until the necessary precautions have been taken to ensure their safety:  a) 1328 Nutter Blvd, Billings, MT: On or about July 20, 2021 and at time prior, employees were exposed to cave-in hazards while replacing sewer line in a trench measuring approximately 6 feet in depth without cave in protection. The employer failed to remove employees from the unprotected trench to ensure their safety.
