29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) 2148 State Road Lancaster PA Sheetz- The employee was on a flat roof 18 feet high leaning over the edge of the roof tightening up a section of two inch black gas line pipe without the benefit of a fall protection system, thereby exposing the employee to a fall hazard, on or about July 21, 2021. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
