29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  Growing Stillness Corp. dba Growing Spaces at 1868 Majestic Drive Pagosa Springs, CO 81147: On or before 8/10/21 the employer did not protect employees from injury in that shop employees used a Central Machinery horizontal bandsaw as well as a Baileigh horizontal bandsaw which was lacking a guard on the unused portion of the blade just past the blade guides. This condition exposed employees to laceration and amputation hazards.   Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item. This condition exposed employees to chemical hazards including but not limited to: -Krud Kutter -Methyl Ethyl Ketone -Acetone -Muriatic Acid -wood dust -polycarbonate dust  Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item.
