Location: 13 Salerno Drive Enfield Ct 06082  On June 1, 2021 , An employee was preparing to install an in-ground pool.  He was working on an excavation site without reflective or high visibility clothing and without steel toe boots.

29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe condition(s) and the regulation(s) applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazard(s) or other exposure to illness or injury.  Location: 13 Salerno Drive Enfield Ct 06082  Location: 13 Salerno Drive Enfield Ct 06082  On June 1, 2021, a Stafford Pools employee was preparing to install an in-ground pool. The excavator operator and Stafford Pools employee did not establish any safety procedures to communicate to prevent the worker from being struck by the excavator bucket. The bucket of the excavator struck the Stafford Pool employee.
