29 CFR  1910.1025(c)(1): The employer failed to ensure that no employee is exposed to lead at concentrations greater than fifty micrograms per cubic meter of air (50 ug/m(3)) averaged over an 8-hour period:  a) On or about September 1, 2021, the senior operator in the production floor by the mills and ovens was exposed to airborne lead at an 8-hour time weighted average (TWA) of 67.01 micrograms per cubic meter of air, approximately 1.34 times the limit of 50 micrograms per cubic meter of air.  The sample was collected during a 343 minute sampling period, and exposure calculations include a zero increment for the 137 minutes not sampled.  b) On or about September 1, 2021, the operator in the production floor working the granulating oven and kiln was exposed to airborne lead at an 8-hour time weighted average (TWA) of 106.09 micrograms per cubic meter of air, approximately 2.12 times the limit of 50 micrograms per cubic meter of air.  The sample was collected during a 339 minute sampling period, and exposure calculations include a zero increment for the 141 minutes not sampled.

(b) On or about August 31, 2021, in the lunchroom, a surface contamination wipe of the lunchroom table measuring 12 inches by 12 inches, indicated a lead presence of approximately 465 micrograms per foot squared (ug/ft2).
