29 CFR 1910.132(a):  Protective equipment, including personal protective equipment for eyes, face, head, and extremities, protective clothing, respiratory devices and protective shields and barriers were not provided, used, and maintained in a sanitary and reliable condition  wherever it was necessary by reasons of hazards of processes or environment, chemical hazards, radiological hazards, or mechanical irritants encountered in a manner capable of causing injury or impairment in the function of any part of the body through absorption, inhalation, or physical contact:    (a) On or about 8/19/2021, at Scrubber building (adjacent to Reactor 1), for the Water Treatment Assistant Operator working with corrosive sulfuric acid 93%.  The employer did not enforce the use of personal protective equipment for the protection of extremities such as, but not limited to, faceshield, respirator, chemical suit, and appropriate gloves.

29 CFR  1910.1200(f)(10):  The employer did not ensure that workplace labels or other forms of warnings were legible, in English and prominently displayed on the container or readily available in the work area throughout each work shift:  (a) On or about 8/19/2021, at Scrubber building (adjacent to Reactor 1), for the Water Treatment Assistant Operator working with corrosive sulfuric acid 93%.  The employer did not ensure communication of what chemical was last used in the pump.
