29 CFR  1926.21(b)(2):The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe condition(s):   a. 13 Remington Dr., Edison, NJ - Garage Roof  The employer did not provide effective training to employees in the recognition of unsafe conditions and method to avoid such hazards.  Employees engaged in residential siding activities were exposed to hazards that included, but were not limited to, fall hazards from the roof while working and not utilizing fall protection and struck by hazards by debris and/or materials falling from the roof.  Violation occurred on or about August 26, 2021

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a. 13 Remington Dr., Edison, NJ - Garage Roof  The employer did not ensure employees were protected from fall hazards by means of a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.  Employees engaged in residential siding activities were installing siding and trim from the garage roof that did not have guardrails or a safety net system and employees were not utilizing a personal fall arrest system.  Violation observed on or about August 26, 2021
