OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to caught-in hazards from a rotating capstan winch: a) On or about 08/30/2021, on the "Big Daddy" shrimp boat at the Trico Shrimp Company dock, an employee was exposed to a caught-in hazard while operating the capstan winch while the line was under tension.

The employee was not trained on the hazards of the rotating capstan winch.
